Saline Lectronics

The Challenge:

Saline Lectronics, an PCB assembly & advanced electronics manufacturer, needed to supplement their marketing materials with new photography. They desired visuals of their factory, products, and most of all their employees - who they regard as heart of their company. Due to the sterile and mechanical nature of their work, the challenge was to evoke emotion and capture movement through the photographs. 

The Solution:

Using a combination of wide dynamic angles and micro focused shots, the photos were cropped to give a sense of eye movement and grandeur. The natural colors of the circuit boards and equipment were intensified to give life to the environment. And most importantly, a feeling of intimacy was achieved through the physical layering of the space and the soft depth that then camera lends created - pushing elements in and out of focus within each photo.
